out of memory, request: 6216
Hey all,
I had a hard drive fail on my G5 recently and a new one installed and now I can’t get my avid Xpress pro version 4.0.1 to work. It keeps giving me the same error when I try to open it:
Error occured while initializing. Exception: out of memory, request: 6216. file AApplication.c line: 3182.
I can’t figure this one out. I have the same amount of memory as when I took my computer in to the shop. The only thing that changed was the drive. I am at a loss. Please help.

Did the system drive fail and they “restored” it to a new drive? If so the chances are the application or some part of the OS is corrupt. time for a full re-install, OS and all applications.
