  • Out of memory error

I am able to render my whole project in the timeline except for one (.mov) file. For some reason FCP 7 does not like this file and I repeatably get the out of error message when trying to render it. I have tried:

Removing the file-it is nested on a JPEG and the will not render either.
Using the native Motion 4 file
    cleaning project file
    cleaning render manager

Is this file corrupt? If so, what is the work around?

Any help would be greatly appreciated -Tony

Your jpeg is likely too big. Larger than 4000 in any direction. That’s usually the out of memory error culprit.

As per your response, this is what I tried. I selected a small piece of my timeline to render that contained JPEG images larger than 4000. I resized the images to 4000 or less and attempted it again only to get the Out of Error memory again. Another thing that is also occurring is that small sections of my timeline become un-rendered when I close and re-open my project. Any suggestions?
