    Big problem!
Got flustered and didn’t dismount drive before shutting it off. Now the last project I was working on won’t open, but instead gives me a message saying “Error: Out of Memory”. I didn’t have the project opened when I shut the drive off, I had quit, but it’s the only project that won’t open on that drive.
Client is looking at me like they know something is up.

    Thanks,
    Bugsy

If you don’t have a copy in your AutoSave Vault, you may completely screwed.
You can try to open the project from within FCP instead of double-clicking on it.
Search this forum for the out of memory term, we see it often. But corrupt project files are more often trashed beyond repair.

You have a chance now to re-examine or to create your worst case scenario planning.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
