Out of Memory
Im getting the message “out of memory” mid sketch render
I want to know what the most cost effiecient upgrade is I should make in my PC to stop this from happening.Ive a AMD3800+
1gig dual channel Ram (2 slots left)
7gig free space on hdd
ATI x850xe PE graphics cardA render with no sketch enabled takes seconds.
Im also not sure i can simplify the sketch material any further as i will loose the desired effect. The material uses multiple cloned linesthanks

ive actually been there a long time ago, used a few tutorials etc
read it again, it seems the best thing to do is upgrade to the 64bit windows as ive a 64bit processor. This will allow me to upgrade RAM beyond 2gig. Anything above 2gig on the 32bit architecture is pretty useless
will i need a 64bit version C4d? or will my 32bit v9.5 do?

I would think so (but don’t really know). What version of C4D are you using? The 9.5 -> 9.6 updater included the 64 bit version.

im using 9.5 at the mo.. are u saying the 64bit version is included in this one?
i want v10 at the mo.. the trial looked very nice
