Hard to pinpoint what the problem could be..because you are
on track with your burning. But first, instead of rendering
out your audio separately as AC3, use Wave instead and see if
it still hangs…(and make sure you try using a
mpeg2 video stream template). if problem persists try re-installing DVDA
    and see.

    Aloha Steve,
I used the DVDA template out of V8.0b and will try the wave option as you suggest and then I guess a reinstall is about all I have not tried…also will move this to “DVDA..no burn” where you meant to post..thanks..bobt

    I’ve got a Pioneer DVR-110DBK and a Pioneer Blu-ray BD-RW BDR-220. Both work fine with DVD Architect.

Does your 213 burn with dvda 4.5d.
Have bought two burners now and neither is supported.
Can use Nero ok but would love to just burn from dvda 4.5d.
    thanks

    Thakn you Herald
I have bought a new samsung and an asus. Neither of which interfaced with dvda.
I could not find a list anywhere to simply guide a buyer to to a compatable burner. One would think for the price of these items this information would be readily available.

anyway thanks so much for the info.
I will buy a pioneer and ensure the firmware is up to date and go from there.
