OT Tom Wolsky Compressor Failures
Hey Tom,
I was searching the Compressor forum on Apple’s website because I’m having a problem with Compressor. After submitting the job- taking an HD timeline and making an H.264 16×9 to post so the clients can see the cut, Batch Monitor keeps failing and restarting the job– a look at console and I’m getting the same message you were getting back in December.
Did you ever figure out what the problem was?
I’m on an 8-Core with 16 GB Ram and OS 10.5.2 and QT 7.4.1 as well as FCS 2 with all proper updates.

It may have been related to the size of the export file. I think I ended up setting it to 484×272, but I can’t remember exactly. Or if I gave up and worked with the 640 size and accepted the larger file size.
