  OT – Stereo Output Not Working on MBP

  Hi,

  I’m running an MBP with the specs below.

  When connecting speakers or headphones into the mini-jack port, I’m getting a mono or quasi-stereo signal.

  I’ve got my Audio Output settings in the ‘Sound’ preference pane set to middle [ie, in-between Left & Right].

  Is there any other reason I could be getting a mono out instead of stereo?
