Sorry guys/gals, for the OT post. I’ve literally spent the last hour and a half searching for an answer to this, not sure where else to turn.

Running Final Cut Studio 2, and thus the auto Pro Apps QT Pro is installed. Worked like a charm until today – realized I cannot save QT’s out of my browser. Repaired perms, check to see that kiosk mode was off, turned it on, turned it off, restarted the comp, etc.

QT pref pane says QT Pro is active, kiosk mode is clearly turned off, and I can export out of QT Player like always – just cannot save or change QT settings from my browser window anymore, which is totally unacceptable.

BTW – these are movies I’ve created and saved from a browser previously myself, so at one point I was able to do this with these specific movies.

    Anyone run into this?

    Orig MacPro 2×2.66 dual core
    MacOs 10.5.8
    QT Pro 7.6.2

    Thanks!

    Tom
