    OT: Panasonic monitor and VANC?

    Sorry for the off topic, but I know some Panasonic experts are on this board…

    I’m hoping to get closed captioning to show up on a Panasonic production monitor. I’ve got an AJA FS1 that can translate the captioning info from Line 21 to VANC data, but is there anyway for the Panasonic BT-LH1700W to display the VANC info? Are there any Panasonic monitors that can?

    Matt it is my understanding that the CC reader info is not included on most current Professional broadcast displays. A Prosumer grade LCD or Plasma should be able to read the signal.
