OT: Need recommendations for cheap camera with A/V input
I’m looking for a cheap camera, along the lines or an Aiptek A-HD. It is absolutely necessary for this camera to have an A/V input so I can record from a Marcum underwater camera (used for ice fishing).
If it uses AA batteries also, that would be a big plus. Under $200 would be great.
Anyone with any recommendations? I’d go with the Aiptek, but can’t find it in stock anywhere.

According to GoPro’s website, they only have AV output. I need input.

You say you need to record ice fishing. No need for an input Just drop the Go Pro in the water and you are good to go. Unless your intentions are different.
You can even monitor the output of the Go Pro.

Yep, intentions are VERY different. Marcum underwater cameras are a sponsor of our show (a weekly hunting/fishing show), and a tool we use on the water year-round to view fish or underwater structure quickly in as deep as 50 feet of water. It would not be good to use a different camera for footage when we are trying to get the viewers to buy the Marcum. Before we’ve always had the ability to aquire the footage, but our newest camera (sony z7u) doesn’t have AV input, thus the need for an alternative.

Most cameras, especially professional, are not made to take an input. You need a record device. That’s why AJA came out with the KiPro Mini.
I can not suggest a camera for you to use and I know cameras.
