OT – Macs at Costco
Apple continues to spread to new retail locations since the introduction of the Intel machines. I saw G5 iMacs and Mini’s at Costco in Atlanta today and AppleCare was included in the purchase price.
There was also a HUGE iPod display all around the machines as well. Very very cool to see the machines moving outside traditional Mac specialty retailers.
Oh and a large stack of XBox 360’s, but that really has nothing to do with Apple… but they are fun. 🙂

Ah, well see Walter they’ve introduced these new iMacs with the intel processor…. 🙂
If you meant Intel iMacs then I might check ’em out. I’m still on the ‘ol dual G4.
Back in 1999 I saw the original iMacs at Costco. Nothing but iPods and shuffle’s since then.

Yeah, they are Intel machines. I think that’s why they are there. They can run XP so it must be ok to expose the unsuspecting public to them now. 🙂

Funny. Costco (Price Club then) was where I bought my very first Mac many many moons ago…
