OT. Machine Hours
I know this is a off topic, but I figure some one here would have the answer.
I have the opportunity to get a used Digi-Beta for about 5K.
The guy gave me the drum hour read out and it seems a bit high to me. I wanted another opinion…
H01: OPE Hours 46,514
H02: Drum Hours 8249
H03: Tape Hours 6494
H04: Thread Count 6424
H05 Drum Hoursr 5201

Drums “should” get replaced every 5-6000 hours. So it’s getting long in the tooth there. But you can get it replaced for $2500 or so.
