OT: Lexar support is pretty awesome….
Thought this might be of interest to you guys, cuz I just discovered it the hard way.
If you buy Lexar Professional media (in my case, a 16 GB CF card), and that card fails, and if that data cannot be recovered using their Image Recovery software….apparently Lexar will give you an RMA # to send the card in for professional recovery, where they remove the flash memory from the card, and try to extract the info that way!
And as a bonus, since it’s PROFESSIONAL level media, it comes with a lifetime warranty, and this recovery service is provided absolutely free!
This is definately a case where it pays not to go cheap on your media! Here’s to hoping they can recover my footage *fingers crossed*

Good to know. Also good to know the only CF card I’ve ever heard of failing is Lexar Professional. 🙂

I have 6 x 64GB Lexars that is what I mostly use for the NANO-flash.
Good to know that they offer that support; better don’t ned it 🙂
So far the only kind of memory i’ve been having problems to recover stuff are the SxS cards.

Glad I use P2 cards. It closes the files every 2 seconds. Data loss is very minimal if it should occur.
