    Michael,

I live in St. Louis and as much as I love that events like this happen, I hate that they’re always seem to be on a coast. I’m wondering what the odds are that there will be a quicktime stream or download of this event some time after it happens. For what it’s worth, I’d gladly throw down $5 after the fact to watch a video of this event from my fly-over state home sweet home.

    Thanks,
    Zak

Since all of us Hollywood types are subversive lefties you can probably obtain a tape of the LAFCPUG meeting from the National Security Agency if Michael isn’t taping this week.

Funny comment David… but I’d imagine FCP 6 and the Motion-based Shake replacement would probably have been out for months or years before my FOIA request even got processed.

I’ll check out the LAFCPUG website some time after the event and see what’s available.

    Hi Zak

We do tape all the shows and then send them to the NSA for the hell of it and when we get them back we sell the meetings on DVD for $19.95 plus shipping.

I’m having a meeting this week about putting the lafcpug shows up on the web after the fact. The idea of streaming is just to hard and complex and expensive. We’ve been talking about it for years, just not sure if the idea is affordable or profitable. We sell very few DVDs despite the interest in these shows. Just not sure folks would watch these things at 320×240 either. But then you never know until you try.
