March 20, 2006 at 4:32 amMan, that’s like THIS Wednesday.
I’d better get stuff ready for it…get all my ducks in a row.

March 20, 2006 at 1:58 pmIs there a way for those of us not lucky enough to be in SoCal to be able to see a podcast of the meeting?

March 20, 2006 at 2:12 pmI second the podcast idea. I am interested in all of the topics to be presented at your meeting. Is the info (DVD,wmv,mp3 etc) something that might be distributed to other FCPUGs around the country?
Thanks,

All the LAFCPUG.org meetings go to DVD.
Check the website.

March 20, 2006 at 7:38 pmYes, Michael edits all the meetings and makes them available for sale on the LAFCPUG site.
And I’m trying to get these ducks to behave, but they keep quacking too much. Very distracting. I might just have to leave them at home.

March 20, 2006 at 11:22 pmActually the deal on the DVDs is this. If and only if our volunteer shooters show up do we have a chance to tape the meeting. Then we need to edit it, taking out all the ducks flying around and any footage we cant get rights too. Then we got to burn the DVDs and then only a few people buy them making them really not worthwhile to do in the first place. Thats why we’ve missed several months in the last year. They are a major pain in the butt and never profitable. Hard enough just to get Shane to shave.

March 24, 2006 at 7:24 amIf you can get someone to shoot them, I will be happy to cut thme together and stamp DVDs. Being remote from your vvaluable meetings really stinks and I know many of us woudl enjoy them. I am happy to even post podcasts on iTunes if you would like.
