  • OT: How to display multiple PC’s on 1-monitor – all at once ?

Is there a way to display multiple PC’s on a single monitor… all at once?

For instance… we setup 4 cams to recorde direct and in real time to 4 pc’s…

We could have a dedicated monitor on each PC…

Or, maybe we can display all for PC’s and camps on a single monitor… saving in hardware cost…

    Thanks for any ideas.

    Check these guys out…

I’ve used the datapath cards and they work pretty good – kind of spendy though. Might be cheaper just to get 4 monitors

    hope this helps

you might try VPN (“Virtual Personal Network” – search for it on Google). It is free software that will allow you to control another PC over a network. I’ve used it to control my laptop in another room over a wi-fi local network in my home, and it works pretty well, albeit a tiny bit sluggish (you can’t watch movies). I never tried Vegas with it, so can’t say. I think you can connect to more than one remote PC by assigning different addresses. I found it very easy to install – about 10 min., including reading just a few paragraphs of instructions. For the price, you might want to give it a try.
