Took some 5 years since they started to talk about USB-3 till the releade.
They couldn’t come with something slower.

Of course Apple refuses to support USB 3 so far, so the “USB 3.0 Equipped computer” would be, not a Mac. Thus that takes up another card slot of the measly four Apple gives us.
Graphics Card, AJA Kona 3, Matrox Max H.264 card, Small Tree PEG1 Ethernet Controller, CalDigit USB 3.0 controller, ATTO R380 Card.
Gonna need a bigger Mac.

Apologies for being contrary, but I’m not aware of Apple “refusing” any such support … thought it was Intel that had thus far refused to support USB 3 on their chipsets … this, as with all things, may be changing with forthcoming processors tho.https://www.techenclave.com/cpu-mobo-corner/sandy-bridge-will-have-usb-3-a-174530.html
