OT: encoding vis for ipod
I’m using the standalone version of Quicktime to encode to ipod specs and all video durations hang at 9% done. I hear QT7 isn’t good with FCP so I’m encoding on a PC.
Has anyone here successfully encoded video to the iPod? How about running quicktime 7 and FCP 4.5?

I heard that QT7 is the “best” way to encode iPod videos!

I’ve successfully encoded several QT7.0.3 videos for my video iPod and watched them on the iPod. I just selected the iPod format. I’ve had no success using FCE’s preset for the iPod.
