    Hey gang….

I thought I would bring this up because I have a few files that a friend has of his family videos that he tranfered to MPEG Muxed video files, and he wants to see if I can put them on a DVD. Yeah, I know…. Quality is poor and it will look terrible but my friend says he still wants them on DVD. Everytime I try to convert them, I get video only, no audio. Is there some way to extract the audio and video together? Or do I have to extract one at a time? And what program can I use to do this? I have Final Cut Studio but I haven’t had any luck. Can you help?

This is amazing! I am a lab tech in the FCP labs at a university in SF and only one hour ago I ran into the exact same problem with a student who had an Mpg1 file and was trying to import it into FCP but it was only importing the video. Thanks so much for bringing this up!

I am downloading the MPG Streamclip right now! Can’t wait to test it out.
