    Hi folks,

    I know this is off topic, and that there is a forum for these concerns, but I need help quickly and you just seem to get answers in this forum!

    I have a client that has asked for a couple of vids to be compressed as streaming AVIs at 56k, 128k and 256k sizes. Problem is that I can’t get cleaner (5.1) to make AVIs at data rates below 100kbits per second even with all the data limits set so it gives the right rate before encoding.

    Is it even possible to make AVIs do what the client is asking for? I usually use WMVs for streaming, so have never used AVIs before.
