OT: Apple and NAB
Apple does not have a booth at NAB this year, which I find strange.
Is there any truth to the rumors that Apple is getting out of the Pro-Apps business?
I find this to be preposterous and hopefully hogwash. -

there is lots of talk about NAB, but I do not see anything about these rumors of Apple getting out of the pro-apps bus.

As Walter pointed out, this topic has been discussed to death. Every possible question has already been asked on those previous posts from 3-4 weeks ago. Hence we don’t need to start another thread on this topic. Just do the search and read away. 🙂

Avid doesn’t have a booth this year, either, yet nobody starts rumors about them getting out of the video/film business.

I have been hearing rumors for around 20 years that Apple is on the brink of extinction. I’d lump these rumors in with those.

No we just had a very LONG discussion about Avid going out of business. That discussion happened when Avid first announced they were pulling off the show floor.
