    Hello everyone;

    I am new to this site;
    I have recently brought my older Media 100 system out and blew the dust off of it. Upon updating the Mac Quicksilver G4 with OSX Tiger, I have been crashing, particularly when trying to import Digital Juice’s Jumpbacks. Anyone out there know what the latest level of OSX is compatible with M100 8.1.1 ?????
    Secondly; how does one install an “older” version of OSX????

    Thanks for your time; my email address is so*****@*sn.com

    Sincerely,

    Dave Sokacz

    Hi Dave,

    Unfortunately only the last version of Media 100 i (8.2.3) is designed for use with Tiger. IIRC, for 8.1.1. you are stuck with 10.2 (Jaguar)

    You can either upgrade you software (the Tune-Up option will do the trick) or go back to 10.2, which can be done by just re-installing from the original OS discs.

    BTW, welcome to the list! Have a look around, there’s lots of great info about your system and the things it can do. Any other questions just ask!

    Re Digital Juice, try rendering them out using the animation codec. They have issues with the Media100 codec.
