Orthographic views – normal or bug?
I try to do as much research on my own, but I have not been able to find anything on this since yesterday.
Certain 3d layers in my scene are only visible in some orthographic views and not visible in other orthographic views (I scrolled through the Front, Back, Left, and Right views to check this). And I haven’t been able to figure out any rhyme or reason as to why they’re visible in some ortho views but not in others.
When I select a layer in the Layers Panel, the selected layer will show a bounding box and the axis controls (the XYZ axis) in the Composition Window . . . but not in all orthographic views. In certain orthographic views, selecting a layer in the Layers Panel won’t show anything highlighted in the Composition Window. I’ve made sure that the camera is zoomed out enough to see the whole scene in the Composition Window.
Is this a normal behavior in AE, and if so, what does the visibility of these layers in Orthographic views depend on? Or am I possibly missing some setting in my project?
Any input/thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
