July 19, 2017 at 5:54 pmYes you definitely should have relinked only the master clips.
Like I had stated before the Master Clips are what all your Grouped and Multicam clips reference and relink back to themselves.\”MY MEDIA/PROJECT MOTO: If you think three copies of your media or project are enough.
Take a moment to place a value on them and then maybe add two more.
Hard Drives are now stupidly cheap. A RE-SHOOT AND YOUR TIME AREN\’T.\” -

July 23, 2017 at 12:29 amAt this stage in the relinking process I usually confirm to myself that I do actually have the media I need online, I then sub clip part of the sequence that is off-line and take that subclip to a new bin and populated the bin with the Masterclips I need to relink to
Then with the sub-sequences and masterclipsall in the same bin, select all and use the “relink to selected items in all opens command ” to try and get this subclip sequence to link to the new master clips. I do this on a micro level, just one shot, and work my way up to larger chunks of the sequence.
If you have been successful you can edit these newly linked Subclips back into your main sequence.
Do this on a copy of the sequence, in case you need to backtrack for any reason.
Hope this helps.
