I’m having a heck of a time with multiclips today. Can someone please write out the workflow for me on how to take footage from two cameras shot at the the same time and one audio track recorded at the same time to a separate device and make a working multiclip with audio that can be laid down in sync in the timeline window.

I assume this is a very common task but for some reason, although my sound is synched when I first merge the video and audio clips, once I try to make a multiclip, the sound loses it’s synch when it’s played in the timeline. Note: I’ve been synching my sound by marking “in” points on the pop of the audio track and on the frame when the clapboard hits in the video. Unless this is a faulty method when creating multiclips, you don’t need to take me through that process in the workflow, simply saying “then sync the 2nd video clip with the audio track” is fine.

    Thanks so much,

    Aaron
