Option to import from DVD player disappeared after upgrade
Hello,
I have a new problem, I hope you can help.
I just received what was listed an “important upgrade” for Vegas 18 pro. I upgraded closed the computer and tried to resume my work.
I was importing files from my computer’s DVD Player. The import option from DVD Payer DISAPPEARED, WHAT HAPPENED?
Attached you will find two screen shots one is from Vegas 18, you will notice in the import window the option to import from DVD disappeared.
The other screen shot is from my Vegas 16 as you can see the option to import from dvd player is there.
Help, I had to stop working!

Worry not. It hasn’t been removed, it’s just been relocated elsewhere….. Go to the “Project Media” tab and where you see “Import Media” there is a little drop down arrow beside it, click on it and you will see in the list “Import DVD Camcorder Disc“, and that is what you use!

Thank you Steve, I found it. I was looking at the red arrows on the right of it.
It’s nice to have a place where one can find real answers to a problem!
I updated my question about the black bars as well. It also was resolved.
