Probably a simple answer – how do i see the changes i’m making in the window or within the timeline of AE (mac, ae 6.5) without holding down the ‘option’ key.
As i drag a property in the comp window i have to hold down option as i do to see it’s change as i do it. ???

weird mine works the opposite. I couldn’t find an option to inverse this function perhaps you could reset your preferences.
    apple+option+CTRL+SHIFT I think (im on a pc)

On a PC it’s Ctrl Alt Shift during the launch of the program. Try perhaps an alternate of this.
somebody knows. try searching for it in the help maybe.
