Optimum Settings for rendered MPEG-2 1060-60i file from Vegas 9 into DVD Architect?
Hi everyone! Many thanks before hand for any words of wisdom.
I have a massive headache trying to figure out why a beautiful MPEG2 file looks like garbage when I pull it into DVDA.
A few quick things – I have the Sony HDV 1000u camera. The Vegas manual says the best render settings for HDV is MPEG2 with a HDV-1080-60i template. When the file renders, the video looks about as gorgeous as the Sony HDV 1000u gets. However, when I open DVDA, and open a “new” file and chose “single movie” – I tested down the line and none of those options I chose produce the same type video quality that has rendered from Vegas as an MPEG2. What could be causing this choppy, stop motion looking playback? It can’t be the size of the file because I only rendered about 20 seconds of footage because I was re-esting all the choices out, over and over.
Thanks so much for any help!
Tara
