    Hi,

I purchased an animated heart model from CG Trader. It works great, but I’m trying to highlight one section of the heart at one point. So, since it was a singular mesh, I disconnected the part I needed and put it on a separate layer. However, the heart’s animated using pose morphs. So, when I try to optimize the model and delete unused points, it causes major problems. Is there some way that I can fix this? Here’s the project.

    Thanks!

pose morphs are like PLA as far as I know so changing point counts would be fatal I would think. Highlighting would be probably better done with textures

    Hi Brian,

Thank you for your help! I was hoping to be able to make the highlight change in AE in case the client wanted a different color, etc. But, your logic makes complete sense…unfortunately.

    Thanks again!
