Optimizing an unwieldy project file
I’ve got a short project, but one with heavy use of the clone and paint tools. The project is getting unwieldy and slow, no matter what I adjust in Previews and Multiprocessing. Some tries, it won’t open, other times it takes a couple of minutes. The project file itself is 500 MB!
Now I’m trying to use Prerenders to minimize the number of paintstrokes the system has to process in each segment – but it doesn’t seem like it’s having much effect. How should I unload the weight here? Because I’m cloning a lot, I’m not sure if proxies would be viable, or if they would even help…
