  • Optimize Render Time for PPro project with AE dynamic links

    Hi,
I’m editing HD footage from a 5Dmkii in Premiere Pro and including some graphics i’ve made in after effects using the Adobe Dynamic Link function… I’ve noticed that this increases the time it takes to render the files exponentially.

I’m sure there is a way to optimize this workflow. I’m happy with the graphics that I’ve made in AE so there is no need to adjust and view the changes in the PPro project.

Maybe I can export the AE graphic as a video and just import that into PPro? If that is a good option which file format would you recommend to export the AE graphic into? its a 2D animation that goes on top of my video footage.

Are there any other options/ideas from you guys?

    Thanks for the help.

    Lucas

Basically Tiff sequence for critical work otherwise png sequence.
Just don´t forget to activate “numbered stills” while importing to PPro.
