Optimization and hdr gamut
Hi, I was wondering if its worth to start with hdr gamut and transcode and optimized it pro res 422? Will there be any improvement in quality with animation? ive kinda noticed vibrant colors when using hdr gamut and optimized media?

If your videos are recorded in HDR, you can edit them in HDR, but if you have SDR footage, I don’t see the point of converting them to HDR or working in HDR with SDR footage.
Can you give more info on your intent?

If you start with SDR, you only have that information in the file. Converting it to HDR does NOT add image information that doesn’t already exist. You get the same image quality with a larger file size. You must start by shooting HDR first. And there should not be any need to convert it nor to use optimized files.
