  Optimal computer System for After Effects

  I wanted to upgrade my computer system to something that will use After Effects (video and graphics)& not Lag…so this is what I thought would be ideal. So this is what I had in mind.

  PC COMPUTER

  INTEL PENTIUM 4 -WITH AT LEAST 4 GHZ speed
  MOTHERBOARD WITH A FRONT SIDE BUS speed -1066/ 800 MHZ
  RAM – 2 GIGS OF DDR2 SINCE IT’s 533 MHZ
  AGP SLOT FOR MY CURRENT VIDEO CARD ATI SAPPHIRE 256 MB
  WINDOWS XP
  PCI SLOTS

  NO PCI EXPRESS (even though its faster but I cant UPGRADE to that for now).

  How does that sound? Any thoughts; any traps I can fall into when doing switching out my motherboard and processor?
