Pretty much every video I’ve made in the last couple months where at least one clip failed to render with Optical Flow. I can’t use the “Flow” transition reliably anymore. Is everyone else having these problems?

If it happens randomly/infrequently- not much to be done. If you see it consistently on the same clip that’s something that could potentially be analyzed and fixed by Apple.

    Do you know which clip?

Sometimes, it’s best to set act clip back to normal and remake the speed ramp.

For me its not infrequent at all. I don’t know if things will get any better switching to High Sierra. But it’s a continual problem. Given that optical flow is used for stabilization, speed changes and flow transitions, it’s really become a workflow burden. And it’s not super easy to figure out which clip is the problematic one besides stepping through one at a time.

Have you tried making a new project and copying/pasting the old timeline in to it?
