Optical Flares Luminance Not Working
I’ve followed like 4 different tutorials and I absolutely should have my settings right here but it not working for me. Trying to get optical flares to use the luminance to apply the flare. Heres an image of my settings and an image what it looks like in my comp. I want to get the flare to apply to the light. Yes, it already has a bit of a flare but I’m trying to add even more. The flare just stays in the middle.
What am i doing wrong here??

Looks like the desk is as light as the light source in your shot, so Optical Flares cannot track the light by luminosity. I would just track the light and use a null to position the light source.
