    Greetings,
I’m testing the HPX170 for an upcoming documentary. It’s my first leap into P2, please excuse if this is a dumb question. We plan to shoot in 720P/24PN. According to the AVID P2 reference guide, OPERATION TYPE should be set to FILM CAM, FRAME RATE to 24FRAME. On this project we will be shooting in both 60Hz and 50Hz countries. When set to FILM CAM there appears to be no option for a 1/50th shutter. However in VIDEO CAM the SYNCRO SCAN can be set to 1/50th. I would like to use that option but will it cause problems in the AVID? Thanks in advance, Alan Barker

I guess it was a dumb question. I see that shutter speed OFF is 1/50th, not the 1/48th I expected.

    Thanks,
