Operation not allowed – Not enough memory
I thought I’d post this if only to make me remember it myself. A sequence would not open and we got a series of two error message boxes: “Operation not allowed” and then “Not enough memory…” I don’t remember the exact wording of the second error message. The fix was to restore from Autosave Vault to get the sequence open, then search for oddities in the timeline. Found one still picture that was a TIFF but the image mode was “Indexed Color.” Opened in editor (Photoshop), changed mode to RGB, saved. Bingo, all is well. Same problem can happen with CMYK mode. Hope it helps somebody.
