Well, I was able to send the contents of my sequence to compressor and make a movie of it, but FCP won’t let me save this project anymore.

It gives me the message “Operation Not Allowed” when I try to save the project.
I’ve tried saving to different drives, saving XML, no good.
I get the message that FCP can’t autosave my project (which has been saved multiple times) unless I save it first.
Do I want to save it? Yes. And then it won’t do it, and I have to cancel.
I kept trying to trick it into saving, and it crashed. This has happened before. It suddenly thinks a project has never been saved, asks if I want to save it, says operation not allowed.
    Any suggestions GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

make a new project. Copy and paste all the contents from the old project into the new one. Save the new project.

If that fails…copy only the things that changed, like the sequence.

Will do. That was what I was trying to do when the old one crashed. Now that it’s functioning again and I’m saving every few minutes, I’ll try to do as you suggest.
