Activity Forums Adobe After Effects opening new window

I could do this easily in 6.5, but in each version it seems to get harder: How does one open a new viewer window in After Effects so that you can adjust something in ONE window, and see it altered in the next?

Usually your adjusting something buried in one Comp and seeing the effect in a later comp. The Views don’t really seem to do this offering different camera angles of the same comp window. I need to different comp windows….

    Hope this makes sense,

You can open new viewers through the Viewer panel menu (the button is located in the upper right corner of the viewer and looks like this: )

See Viewers [link] on the online help. There’s a section there that describes ETLAT (edit this, look at that), which is exactly what you are trying to accomplish.
