Opening CS3 Zax files in CS5 crashes AfterEffects
Hello,
Just wondering if there is a fix or a solution for not crashing AfterEffects CS5 when opening CS3 files.
There are many work files that I am updating to the new CS5, and would like to reuse previous work and not have to start them from scratch.This is how it goes opening an old file in the new CS5:
I open After Effects CS5, and from the menu open an CS3 file.
First message is “this project must be converted from 8.0.2…” just updates the file to CS5 I beleiveIt starts opening the file, and a popup appears “After Effects error” crash occurred while involving effect plug-in “3D Invigorator PRO”
Next message is “After Effects error: Crash in progress. Last logged message was: <5468> Destruct for 1197110128
Followed by ” After effects can’t continue: sorry……….”
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
