Hallo everybody,
anyone know how to create and animate a 3D book with after effects?Can you suggest any tutorial?

January 2, 2012 at 2:39 pmThe animation for this is relatively straight forward, it’s making a realistic book that is the hard part of creating this project.
Create solids for the pages and covers, offseting them in Z-space, to make a 3d feel. Adjust the anchor point of your cover(your cover might be 20 to 30 solids, or a 3d rectangle) to the spine of the book and then open it up by animating the y rotation of your cover.

Also found a free download of a very very complex animated project of a 3D book cover open. If you are new to AE, adjusting this to fit your needs might be pretty difficult, but here it is:
