    Opening a new project after starting queue

    I know that if I export using the Media Encoder, I can go back to Premiere and keep working (which is awesome), but can I close the current project and work on another one while the export is happening, or does my project need to remain open for the encoder to pull the sequence info from?

    So I checked it out myself, and yes – you can close your current project and open a new one while the Encoder continues to export sequences.
