Opening a corrupt project trick
Hi,
I was working on a shared project with an editor from the US (i’m in Africa), it is a trailer for a feature and managed to work on it, all was wonderful until it didn’t want to open again and Premiere gave me an error of corrupt project file..
I duplicated it many times, sometimes I managed to open it and work but sometimes not until today, it would not open at all.
The workaround that I found is:
I opened the corrupt project file in SpeedGrade and it opened smoothly – than I sent it back to Premiere and voilà HAPPINESSSSSSEnjoy and I hope it will work for you dear corrupt editors out there

Here’s another corrupt project recovery method that works for me. Cocktail (for mac)
