    Open up in Illustrator

    I used to be able to open line drawing in illustrator and work with them in C4d. I have CS3 and I am saving the files as AI 3.0 like I used to. The problem is when I extrude I loose any holes or any other internal shapes within the line drawing.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I guess you’ve checked to make sure Hierarchicals is checked in the attributes manager on the Extrude?

    I have CS3 and I always save as an Illustrator 8.0 file or something an Illus 8 eps.
