    Hi CC,

I need to open a Project FOLDER as a PANEL

I have 200 images and 200 comps… my computer monitor is not big enough to see all the images and compositions… this means endless scrolling and toggling items to open and close them.

It is possible to open the folder in the projects panel as a new panel?

Then I can drag each image onto the respective composition.

In Premiere it is possible to have multiple panels ‘BINS’ which allow quick manipulation of assets.

    thanks – Pete

Double-click any bin to open it in its own floating panel.

Use Undock Panel from the menu of any tab to create a floating panel for that tab.

A new folder / bin in a panel with the results of a search would work well.

Double clicking a folder in After Effects merely opens the folder it doesn’t create a new panel.

Apologies, wrong forum – misread this as a Premiere query where this functionality does apply.

You can’t. But you can press the tilda key ~ to maximize the panel. I find this suits the need for more room in the project panel.
