Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro “Open in Timeline” inconsistent behavior

This is regarding events created in 10.0.6

I have a synchronized clip. When I created it, I right clicked on it to “Open in Timeline.” Double-clicking it no longer opens it (first issue). It opened up in the timeline and I added some audio effects.

After working on a project with this clip in it, I can now no longer choose “Open in Timeline.” The option is grayed out in the right click menu.

I can open it in timeline if I do it from the project, but not from the event browser.

Has anyone else had this happen?

I´ve noticed that if you have multiple range selections in a clip in the Event Browser, the “Open in Timeline” is greyed out if you have more than one selected or none of them selected. If you select just one of the ranges the whole clip opens fine in timeline.
