Open in editor opens only compressor?
When I right click and select open in editor it opens everything in compressor? Livetype files and Motion files?
I am sure it is some pesky setting I have over looked.
Any Ideas?

What open in editor opens is set in the user preferences. Can’t imagine though why a Motion project would open in Compressor. If never heard of that happening.

It happened to me too. Simplest solution is to locate that file in Finder, Get Info (CMD+I) and change “Open With…” to whatever you fancy.

The user preference in FCP will override that.
