Open a Pagemaker 5 file .pm5
My boss has a pagemaker file he created in pagemaker 5.0. Unfortunately his computer had to be rebuilt and we are now trying to open this file. I tried downloading the Pagemaker 7 trial, but go the error message “file cannot be translated to PC and converted to new version at the same time.” Does anyone know of any other way to open this file and save it as a current indesgin file?

I’m not sure about the versions, but we have some old PageMaker files here. We use all Mac, so those old files do not have extensions on them. I just add “.indd” to them and they open fine in Indy. Hope that helps.
