opaque to transparent?
Hi I was wondering how to create a simple gradient effect in a shape, going from opaque to transparent, within the same color.

In illustrator! thanks…

Modify the gradient to containe opacit in the gradient editor (double click its thumbnail and adjust opacity control points).
Then… create shape layer… load it as a selction… and apply it as a mask to the gradient layer
