HI. I’m going to start the process to create an animate typeface. I know there is some spripts to install by which I can control easy and fast the write in. I don’t want to use and script to do that. What I want is build an expression by which control the opacity of composition using a source text. I mean: If I type ICON in a text control the “I” will reveal the object “I” in a separated composition, the “C” will reveal the C and so on. Is this possible? Any help will be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My first question is: Do you have a plan for how to handle the second instance of the same letter in a line of text?

I suspect you will be introducing more problems than it is worth, since you will have to calculate the position of each letter somehow. That already will limit what you can do with the letters afterwards.

What is the objective that made you think of this option, i.e. what limitation with text animators do you want to overcome?
